Dog’s Dream Dinner

I love dogs. I LOVE dogs. I had the privilege of teaming up with Jackalope Jack’s and hosting my own three course dinner event.  They reached out, and I was like “Heck yea! Can we bring dogs?” And they said, “Heck yea!”  I helped design the menu, which was Southern and incorporated ingredients that dogs love and were sourced locally.

First course: Salad with NC peanut aioli, feta. super yummers

Second course: Sage rubbed pork loin with succotash and mashed sweet potatoes

Third course: Chocolate whoopie pies with banana pudding and marshmallow whipped cream. Puppies got puppy pops courtesy of Golden Cow Creamery!

The chefs knocked it out of the park because the presentation was stunning and the food was delicious.

Adoptable dogs were also on site, thanks to Charlotte SPCA, South of the Bully, and Live.Wag.Bark! I was carrying a puppy at any given time. It was awesome. What was even more awesome was that with every ticket sold a portion was given to Live.Wag.Bark! which helps dog owners in underserved communities. They were so sweet and gracious, and brought their puppy kissing booth for the event!

Pet Wants: Urban Feed store brought a stand of treats that the doggos went bonkers for.

THANK YOU to everyone who came out, and brought their fur babies. It meant so much, and my second restaurant event was a smash hit! I had so much fun, and I hope y’all did too. Thank you to Shauna and the Jackalope Jacks crew, none of this would have been possible without you!

Please look at the pics I am attaching below. SO much fun, cute dogs, and the pictures speak for themselves.
